Get to see the different fauna and Australian wildlife. Cairns ZOOM and Wildlife Dome is uniquely located at the top of Reef Hotel Casino. Also called Pullman Reef Casino Hotel, it’s the only casino in Cairns, Queensland. It offers luxurious accommodations with its 128 hotel rooms equipped with walk-in showers and garden balconies. It’s located near Trinity inlet and the cruise liner terminal.

Cairns ZOOM and Wildlife Dome provides visitors with a rainforest experience in the middle of Cairns’ central business district. You can enjoy the lush environment and see some of Australia’s wildlife. Enjoy its 65 different areas of rope crossings and ziplines amidst the green surroundings. Have a unique close encounter with Australia’s local wildlife like tropical birds.

Get to see the all-weather wildlife exhibit in the Wildlife Dome and be amazed at how they were able to emulate the wildlife’s actual natural habitat. Don’t miss the chance to hold and cuddle a real-life Koala and see native Australian birds freely flying around the dome area. See the occasional pademelons and snakes that are also part of the live wildlife exhibit. Have a glimpse of other wildlife like lizards, gliders, White Kookaburra, turtles, and pythons.

If you seek an adventure and a thrilling experience, try the different levels and heights of their Mid-ZOOM and Hi-ZOOM courses with multiple zip lines and crossings. Have a close encounter with a real four-meter long saltwater crocodile named “Goliath” while you’re doing some of the rope and zipline courses.

If you want to use the rope course, the mid-ZOOM rope course is suitable for beginners. It has 24 different elements: seesaw, chairs, a spider’s web, and a snake and ladders climbing wall. But if you want a little more excitement to try the Hi-ZOOM rope courses, which has a higher level of difficulty. Try walking the plank, dodge ball, cargo net, tyre wire, and swinging on beer kegs.

Adrenaline rush seekers can also try the PowerJump, where participants jump from an almost 50 feet platform and have a controlled descent towards the tower’s bottom. You may again try the Commando Rope Climb, Pirate Climb, or Slackline for a little more adventure. If you still seek more thrill after that experience, try the Dome Climb. It features an internal walk around the top of the enormous glass dome with magnificent views of the entire exhibit and a stunning view of the outside overlooking the Coral Sea and Cairns City.

Embark on a Pirate Climb adventure and challenge yourself to climb a 13-meter cargo net and ring the ship’s bell at the top. Record the time and try to beat your time on the next climb. Afterwards, go the Commando Rope climb and try climbing the 13-meter rope that is suspended from the Power Jump platform. Try to jump back using the trampoline. Don’t worry; you will be provided with a harness for safety.
